Head out San Juan Valley Road until you come upon Wood Duck Lane, a small road leading to the right. The lane is marked with a small sign for the B&B.

Description:
Wood Duck Ponds distinguishes itself as an exceptional Bed and Breakfast for the beautiful surroundings and unparalleled privacy it offers. Accommodations consist of two buildings situated on 25 acres of beautifully landscaped property, each far removed from the other.

The proprietor, a landscape contractor for 25 years, has poured a great deal of time and energy into developing the area surrounding the houses. Weddings are popular here for the tastefully designed grounds, complete with wishing wells, flower gardens, stone barbeques and statues. The most prominent features are the duck ponds with wooden docks and arching footbridges. Guests are invited to row the small dinghies in the pond, a novel way to enjoy the quiet evenings at Wood Duck.

The Main House's accommodations are incredibly spacious with two floors and four bedrooms designed to host eight to 10 people. (Couples are welcome to rent the top floor only if they prefer.) Wood Duck offers a full complement of amenities including a full kitchen, washer/dryer and woodstoves. The entire second floor is ringed by a wood deck, perfect for a 360-degree view of the grounds. On one side of the deck is a large hot tub with lights for night soaking; a expansive deck on the opposite side could seat a small army.

A second building sits on the edge of one of the ponds, appropriately named, The Pond House. Set away from the main house on a separate parcel, this house is equally private with many of the amenities of the main house, including a full-size jacuzzi.
