Directions
From the Orcas Island ferry landing, drive 9 miles on Orcas Road (Horseshoe Highway)to Eastsound. Turn left onto North Beach Road and follow for a little more than a mile to the road-end and Sunset Road. Turn right. North Shore Cottages is about 1/4-mile ahead on the left.

At the far northern shore of Orcas Island it’s possible to watch the sun rise and set from the same spot. At North Shore Cottage’s Eagle’s Nest unit, this is your reality, not your imagination running wild.

Equally as grand are the Orca Watch and Heron Cove cottages. Orca Watch boasts a nautical theme and features dark hardwood throughout, a bow-shaped bay window enclosing a large captain’s table, and porthole windows along the walls. Full-kitchen, private hot tub and wood stove are also included. A cylindrical two-story cottage, Heron Cove is the newest unit at North Shore and, in the opinion of the owners, the most exquisite.
