  • Bilbos Festivo
One of Orcas Island's most popular eateries, Bilbos Festivo promises to take your taste buds on an authentic south-of-the-border trip. Since 1974, Bilbos has been satisfying locals and visitors alike with its extensive Mexican menu.

  • Buckhorn Farm Bungalow
Overlooking a small orchard and garden, this vintage 1940s vacation cottage is located on a peaceful 10-acre farm just outside Eastsound.

  • Doe Bay
Get away from it all and even lose your inhibitions during a magical, cost-friendly stay at Doe Bay Hippie Resort & Retreat.

  • Kangaroo Inn
Built in 1907, the Kangaroo House Bed and Breakfast is the oldest, continuously operating Bed and Breakfast on Orcas Island.

  • KingFish Inn
A combination B&B and breakfast eatery, the Kingfish Inn offers peaceful views of Westsound Bay.

  • Madrona Point
Located only five minutes away from downtown Eastsound, Madrona Point (Tsel whi'sen to the Lummi Indian Nation to whom it is sacred ground) offers a small peninsula with beautiful views of the Sound, a dense forest area, and a sense of seclusion that’s rarely found within walking distance of civilization.

  • Nelson Bay Cottage
A collection of cozy and secluded cottages overlooking the strait, Nelson Bay Cottages will guarantee a return visit.

  • Obstruction Pass
The Obstruction Pass Trail is one of Orcas Island’s lesser-known hiking areas. This 80-acre Department of Natural Resources (DNR) recreation area is about 1-1/2 miles off the Olga to Doe Bay Road at the end of a gravel road.

  • Orcas Center
The Orcas Center fulfills the role of little theater for the island, and a whole lot more. The center is the hub of Orcas society, a place where celebrations are held, issues resolved, and a good time had by all.

  • Orcas Historical Museum
The Orcas Island Historical Museum is made up of six original homestead cabins and sits unabashedly in the middle of downtown Eastsound. All of the cabins come from original sites on Orcas Island and each one boasts a display depicting the life of a homesteader.

  • Orcas Hotel
The Orcas Hotel, a National Historic Landmark, works well as both a destination spot and a jumping off point for adventures around the island. Because it’s located only a few feet up the hill from the ferry landing, it is an excellent place to start your vacation, especially if getting a late start.

  • Outlook Inn
The Outlook is one of Orcas’ oldest and most venerated landmarks. Originally a cabin, it was expanded in 1888 to include most of Eastsound civilization (jail, general store) and a spot where traders could get a fairly clean room and good meal.

  • Portofino Pizza
Though there are many mysteries at Portofino Pizzeria, you know the pizza is going to be good the minute you walk in and get a whiff of roasted garlic and notice that the restaurant is crowded.

  • Rosario Resort
It’s impossible not to relax at the historic Rosario Resort. One of the nicest places on Orcas Island, it’s likely that it also has the most history behind it. Built by Robert Moran and completed in 1906, it was known as

  • Rosies Inn
The gracious old (1891) Outlook Inn boasts Rosie’s, a restaurant of easy elegance and laid-back comfort with stone fireplace, patterned carpet and window tables facing Eastsound beach.

  • Smugglers Villa
Located at the northernmost tip of Orcas Island, Smuggler’s Villa Resort looks directly across President Channel to Sucia, Matia and Patos Islands. On clear days, guests at this four-condo resort can admire views of Canadia’s Gulf Islands to the west and Bellingham to the east.

  • West Sound Cafe
The West Sound Café is close enough to the Orcas Island ferry landing and the food good enough that it’s well worth adding a half-hour or so to your itinerary to squeeze in a quick visit before catching a ferry. Located below the Kingfish Inn Bed and Breakfast, the café is small, with only 10 tables and a bit of counter space, and can get very very crowded in the mornings.
